It all started in Rome
It was a quiet Sunday morning in Rome. The streets were still. The light soft and golden. I had recently left behind a life I had outgrown — newly separated, still working in the corporate world as a Brand Manager, and on a short sabbatical to reconnect with my distant Italian roots and learn the language of my ancestors.
I already knew I could take photographs — I had done it my whole life, as a quiet, loyal hobby. But that morning something shifted.
As I walked to the bakery with my camera in hand, I turned a corner and saw a little girl walking hand-in-hand with her father. A doll tucked under one arm. Her steps light. The morning sun wrapped gently around them.
I instinctively raised the camera and took a photo. That single frame changed everything. For the first time, I truly understood what it meant to preserve a moment — to hold emotion, light, and meaning in a single image, before it slips away.
Since then, I’ve been drawn to the in-between.
The quiet intimacy. The honest gestures. The details that tell the real story.
I believe photography isn’t about perfection — it’s about presence. About capturing light, movement, and emotion as they truly are.

I live near Lake Zurich, in the quiet Obersee region, with my husband, our three children, and our slightly wild but very lovable dog, Rita.
They’re my daily reminder that beauty lives in the small and unplanned — in quiet gestures, soft light, and imperfect moments.
When I’m not photographing people or brands, you’ll find me baking for friends, wandering alpine trails, or styling our home — always chasing that delicate balance between light, texture, and feeling.
