It was a quiet Sunday morning in Rome.
The streets were still, the light soft and golden.
I had recently left behind a life I had outgrown — newly separated, still working in the corporate world as a Brand Manager, and on a short sabbatical to reconnect with my Italian roots and learn the language of my ancestors.
Photography had always been part of my life — a quiet and loyal companion. But that morning, something shifted.
On my way to the bakery, camera in hand, I turned a corner and saw a little girl walking hand in hand with her father. A doll tucked under her arm. Her steps light, almost dancing. The morning sun wrapped gently around them.
Instinctively, I raised my camera.
That single frame changed everything.
For the first time, I understood what it truly means to preserve a moment — to hold emotion, light and meaning in an image before it quietly slips away.
Since that day, I’ve been drawn to the in-between.
The quiet intimacy. The honest gestures. The small details that tell the real story.
To me, photography isn’t about perfection.
It’s about presence — capturing light, movement and emotion exactly as they unfold.
My work lives where fine art and real life meet.
Documentary in its truth, editorial in its elegance.
Guided by light, shaped by instinct, and always rooted in story.
Today I work as a photographer near Zurich and Lake Zurich, documenting weddings, families and personal brands in a way that feels natural, timeless and deeply personal.
I live in the quiet Obersee region near Lake Zurich with my husband, our three children, and our slightly wild but very lovable dog, Rita.
They remind me daily that beauty lives in the small and unplanned — in quiet gestures, soft light and imperfect moments.
When I’m not photographing people or brands, you’ll find me baking for friends, wandering alpine trails or styling our home — always searching for that delicate balance between light, texture and feeling.
To me, composing a space is much like composing an image: soulful, intentional and honest.
I’m drawn to people who see meaning in simplicity.
Who care less about perfection and more about connection.
Whether it’s a wedding in the Alps, a family’s slow Sunday morning, or a brand story told with heart.
If that sounds like you, let’s create something honest and timeless together.
